V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (1)

Hey, wusgawnon guys, it’s … (Sorry, we can’t do this.)

V-Shred-palooza is finally dying down after spiking to fame in 2019 thanks to a genius marketing campaign that left the world wondering, “What the hell is V Shred and why is it seemingly the only ad showing on YouTube?”

Check Out Our Top V Shred Alternative
V Shred is known for deception, scandals, and misleading promises.
Discover the program that gives you better results without the hype.

These days, we’re a bit more clear-eyed about the internet’s favorite (still-simmering) dumpster fire, and you can sure as hell bet we brought the marshmallows.

OK, really, though. Incoming roasts aside, we reviewed more than a dozen programs and supplements since 2021 to create the ultimate V Shred Review.

So, is V Shred legit?

There’s a lot to unpack here …

Who is this V Shred Guy Anyway?

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (2)

The V in V Shred is actually a nod to V Shred cofounder and the literal face of the platform, Vince Sant — Vinsanity Shred.

Vince Sant is a fitness model and ISSA-certified celebrity trainer.

He joined forces with Roger Crandall, Kevin Pearn, and Nick Daniel in 2015 to create the V Shred team. The high school football team reject — cut from the roster for being dangerously twiggy — is now a “fitness author” with over a dozen programs, including the popular Fat Loss Extreme program) and a supplement line (Sculpt Nation) to help you lose weight or build muscle.

The original $1,000 V Shred start-up exploded into one of the trendiest fitness platforms ever, pulling in $110 million in revenue in 2019 alone. V Shred’s cult-like online following is now more than 10-million members strong between Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and has been featured in numerous fitness magazines.

Yet, the brand rubbed a lot of legitimate fitness gurus the wrong way, with Greg Doucette, Jeff Cavaliere, and Sean Nal calling Sant out for putting the fitness model confusion back in muscle confusion.

Obnoxious ads aside, Sant’s exercise and diet advice is a bit overblown and most.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (3)

(Disclaimer: We haven’t fact-checked every sentence out of Vince Sant’s mouth. But we’ve seen countless statements that are either trumped-up facts or misleading.)

Who are V Shred Programs For?

Quite literally everyone and anyone with a pulse (and a credit card).

Since 2015, Vince Sant and the V Shred posse have launched more than a dozen fitness programs for men and women looking to build the physique of their dreams — bigger, leaner, stronger, slimmer, faster.

Based on the depth of each fitness and diet program, we’d rate V Shred somewhere between the beginner and intermediate levels. But the super vague training advice, “every other program sucks” language, and reliance on outdated and “feel good” science will most likely resonate with newbies.

Here’s a breakdown linking each fitness goal to the right V Shred program:

V Shred App

If you don’t want to be that guy lugging his tablet or laptop to the gym and listening to Vince Sant’s nonsense on full volume, V Shred created a free app for both the App and Play Stores.

As of March 2022, the app has millions of downloads and an average rating of 4.5+ stars.

With this ‘lil nugget on your phone, you can:

  • Access every V Shred plan you’ve purchased (like Fat Loss Extreme or Ripped in 90 Days)
  • Follow along with V Shred workout videos
  • Open and view the 90-Day Diet Plan and PDF resources
  • Discover and order other V Shred programs and Sculpt Nation supplements
  • Calculate your how many calories and macros to consume daily based on a meal plan or carb cycling

Despite the slight lagging (nowhere near dial-up circa ‘02 slow) and occasional crashing, the app is relatively reliable and condenses your fitness plans into one simple app.

The V Shred customer service responses to the 1–2-star reviews are also a real trip. The “we’re sorry you feel that way” and “we are sorry you did not enjoy the ad that much” clapbacks are all the cringe you need to liven up a lonesome Saturday night.

Before We Keep Going, Major Spoilers

In the next section, I’ll reveal our thoughts on V Shred’s iconic workout programs.

Here’s the deal… they’re not good.

We bought all the fitness plans in Vince Sant’s catalog, reviewed them with a fine-toothed comb, and most of them are a mess.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (4)

Now, there’s another program that we recommend to beginners that want to get a shredded body with noticeable muscle definition…

Without working out more than 3 days per week…

Without eating every 2-3 hours like a pro bodybuilder…

And without giving up your favorite foods…

It’s called Superhero X12 by Fit Mole.

Build a Superhero Body Without Training Like One

Getting in shape isn't easy. But this program gives you a real-life approach to building a leaner, more muscular body without obsessing over fitness 24/7.

You may not have heard of it (and that’s OK).

But here’s why we like it:

First off, V Shred uses unrealistic claims and promises to sell their programs.

Just reading the sales pages for their fat loss programs starts to set off our Spidey senses.

For example, the V Shred website makes the insane promise that the Fat Loss Extreme for Him program will help you lose weight in excess of 20-50 pounds in 90 days.

Really? 50 pounds?! That’s a 4 pound weight loss every week. For 12 weeks.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (6)

If you didn’t know, if you want to lose weight on the safe “fast track” it’s about 1-2 pounds per week.

Is it sexy and hyped-up? No, but it’s the truth.

On the other hand, Superhero X12 is a long-term solution to transform your body safely and effectively based on scientific facts.

SX12 doesn’t lie about how much fat you can lose or muscle you’ll build just to get your credit card digits.

Instead, the program gives you honest strategies on:

  • Working out to be efficient, effective, and motivating
  • Dieting that’s easy to follow when you include your favorite foods
  • Adjustments so you continue to make progress for months, if not years

Second, V Shred is known for poor customer service with questionable business practices.

At the time of writing this, V Shred has a Trustpilot rating of 1.8 stars with close to 5,000 customer reviews.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (16)

Why?

User complaints include not receiving programs and supplements they bought.

Customers continue to be charged even after they request refunds or cancel subscriptions on their V Shred offers (even in the money back guarantee period).

And customer service either lies about correcting the problems or just doesn’t respond.

Great stuff! /s

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (17)

Regardless of what you think about Fat Loss Extreme or Six Pack Shred, this kind of interaction with their customers is downright nuts!

Wouldn’t you rather work with a brand that actually gives a crap about their followers?

On the other hand, Keith Lai, the creator behind Superhero X12, puts his customers on a pedestal.

Keith has an exclusive Facebook group where you can get any question answered after you sign-up for the program.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (18)

Plus, with a 60-day money back guarantee, Keith will give you a refund for just about any reason if you’re disappointed after signing up.

You really have nothing to lose.

Finally, V Shred’s program are really supplement ads in disguise.

Let’s be real…. Vince Sant’s company probably doesn’t make that much dough from selling fitness programs.

The real money is in selling supplements by their sister brand, Sculpt Nation.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (19)

From the time you enter the V Shred quiz funnel, at every single opportunity, the brand shoves a mention for some sort of powder or pill that will burn fat faster, pack on more pounds of muscle, and “take your results to the next level”.

And yes, some supplements (like creatine) can actually improve your results.

But V Shred wants you to believe that popping a pill and knowing your “body type” is just as important as low calorie diets and smart workout routines.

Fake news.

Superhero X12 gives you all the information you need to build muscle and lose fat without any supplements at all.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (20)

Yes, there’s still a short guide included just in case you’re curious and want to know how to give yourself a boost in your training and recovery.

That being said, the creator, Keith Lai constantly preaches how supplements are typically unnecessary and you can do just fine without them.

And SX12 shows you how!

I’ll stop rambling and wrap this up now.

V Shred’s fitness programs are not that great.

They’re average at best and deceptive at worst.

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (21)

That’s why I think Superhero X12 by Fit Mole is a good alternative.

You’ll know the system works since the program is backed by proven science based on widely-accepted research.

You can feel good about buying with real, helpful, customer support and a 60-day money back guarantee.

And you’ll save money on unnecessary supplements by following a solid training and nutrition plan that gets results.

But you don’t have to believe us (strangers on the internet).

V Shred Program Reviews

Now, seven-plus years after going mainstream, V Shred has more than a dozen programs, guides, and coaching plans to help you lose fat and build muscle. Here’s a brief look at each of V Shred’s current programs:

V Shred Fat Loss Extreme for Him

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (23)

A collection of V Shred reviews wouldn’t be complete without including Fat Loss Extreme for Him. This is V Shred’s supposed step by step blueprint for men looking to lose weight for a more ripped and aesthetic physique.

During the next three months of Fat Loss Extreme, you’ll follow along with either gym (hypertrophy) or home (circuit) workouts to ideally maintain mass while torching fat during weight loss. Yet, with 45 active minutes per week and occasional high intensity interval training (HIIT workouts), don’t expect to lose 20–50 pounds.

(To be 100% honest, the V Shred Fat Loss Extreme program was one of the first we reviewed, our judgment was clouded, and we didn’t realize that nearly every other program that followed would be a near-spitting image of the same program and underwhelming sales hype.)

Pros

  • Yes, HIIT workouts can help your body burn fat efficiently
  • Bodyweight exercises to maintain muscles and shred fat

Cons

  • Extreme fat loss isn’t exactly safe
  • No macronutrient focus
  • Really, really salesy (will be a trend as you keep reading)
  • Semi-repetitive

V Shred Fat Loss Extreme for Her

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (24)

This V Shred program is the women’s version of the classic Fat Loss Extreme for Him. Like all V Shred fitness programs, Fat Loss Extreme for Her is an anti-traditional one — follow this 12-week workout routine to drop 2–4 pounds per week without munching on certain foods that taste like cardboard or wasting away on the treadmill.

(And it’s all based on your very unique body type.)

This circuit-heavy training plan emphasizes bodyweight training (though the gym workouts are weirdly hypertrophic) to maybe lose weight, though nowhere close to Sant’s goal.

Pros

  • Tons of training variety
  • Very far from extreme (in a good way)
  • Dozens of HIIT alternatives
  • Weight loss is likely
  • Community support via private Facebook Groups

Cons

  • Hardly lives up to its promises
  • Information isn’t different based on body types
  • Fifty pounds of weight loss in three months? Is he nuts?
  • Lots of recycled content
  • Two really (really) different routines

Ripped in 90 Days: The Exact Blueprint

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (25)

Ripped in 90 Days: The Exact Blueprint isn’t mincing words — follow this diet and workout plan for 90 days, with 45-minute fast-paced intense workouts to burn fat and maximize muscle mass. This classic V Shred bro split flips the switch to gain muscle mass, from strength training workouts to the occasional HIIT-incinerator (again, sort of).

The cardio and training push is the golden ticket to a ripped physique, though V Shred’s approach and oddly put-together fitness program ruin that. Oddly enough, macro tracking and carb cycling aren’t introduced until after the 90 day period ends.

(Yep, this is another one where things seemed OK, but we eventually realized it was almost the same as Fat Loss Extreme for Him, just labeled something new again.)

Pros

  • Very beginner-friendly guidance with video tutorials
  • Twice a week is generally preferred for hypertrophy
  • Advocated eating clean foods

Cons

  • Anyone wants to talk about carbs, fats, or proteins?
  • Good luck coordinating the weekly meal plan to fit your calories
  • Doesn’t introduce macros or carb cycling until after the first 90 days

Toned in 90 Days

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (26)

This is one of the few exclusive programs for women disappointed in their “saggy butts” and love handles but even more, repulsed by modern programs. Appearing on the V Shred app, Toned in 90 Days feeds into our insecurities by saying you can lose weight upwards of 17+ pounds in 90 days and burn fat forever (and around the clock).

But the “clean” diet and two very different workout programs — one home and one gym — make us doubt this program altogether.

Pros

  • Comes with a handful of other “free” perks
  • A workout program for gym and another for home
  • A calorie deficit is extremely likely for weight loss (to some extent)

Cons

  • Two very distinct workout schedules (that somehow have the same goal)
  • Blatantly inaccurate fat-burning promises
  • Waste of a Supplement Guide
  • Carb-cycling isn’t the end-all-be-all for losing weight

Read the Full Toned in 90 Days Review

90 Day Clean Bulk Program

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (27)

90 Day Clean Bulk is allegedly a breakthrough workout program for those trapped in hard-gainer purgatory. V Shred shames other similar programs for being laughably bad while insisting a gain of 5–21 pounds of pure lean mass in the next three months is very possible.

Although it’s another V Shred letdown, the Clean Bulk program does deliver two unique workout schedules — a four-day “Legacy” bro split and a PPL routine — with a high intensity interval training (HIIT) twist to shred body fat.

(This is about where we “woke up” and noticed that these V Shred fitness programs were becoming extremely repetitive and making ridiculous promises to already disappointed users.)

Pros

  • Includes 50+ balanced diet meals in the guide
  • Two strength training workouts for the price of one (technically)
  • Will likely build some strength and size

Cons

  • Really, building 17+ pounds of lean mass in three months?
  • Nothing matches up
  • Tons of failure training (with no reason as to why)

Move: 30 Day At-Home Fitness Program

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (28)

The Move: 30 Day At-Home Program revolves around 2019 research out of the prestigious Duke University, uncovering the idea that humans have 780 fat-burning genes. This program claims it’ll activate those genes for losing weight in a just a week with five <20-minute weekly training sessions.

Yes, this home workout plan will build strength and burn fat with its calisthenics-only approach, but implying 34 pounds of weight loss in a month with Tabata, circuit-training, and HIIT workouts is flat-out absurd.

I guess if V Shred wants to compete with Insanity, they have to make some pretty “bold” claims, right?

Pros

  • High intensity interval training (HIIT) and calisthenics can both be aesthetic
  • Six calorie-deficit meal plans available
  • Completely equipment-free training

Cons

  • Forces you to watch a half-hour ad before buying (literally “must watch”)
  • A lot to figure out for yourself
  • Promises to shed 34 pounds of body weight with an hour of training per week

Vinsanity Shred Big Arms

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (29)

V Shred offered us a chance to get massive biceps and triceps and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Vinsanity Shred Big Arms is a muscle building arm routine meant to put Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger out of business (maybe). Stuffed inside this six-week upper-arm routine are a seemingly random blend of cheated reps, partial reps, supersets, and heavy and light days that’ll trick your plateauing biceps and triceps into growth with twice-a-week “Big Arms” training. Although the science is razor-thin, a fresh workout program for your arms will likely stretch that measuring tape.

Pros

  • Enough variety to bust through plateaus
  • Video tutorials for newbies
  • Levels with mass-maximizing fitness goals

Cons

  • Not a single mention of a diet or meal plan
  • Almost completely disregards the forearms
  • Doesn’t mention any upper arm anatomy whatsoever

The Booty Builder

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (30)

The “Booty Builder” is V Shred’s ladies-only guide to building the (natural) Kim K of butts with a glute-focused training routine. This comprehensive build-a-booty manual explains how to “perfect” a round, firm, Instagram-worthy butt, from reducing cellulite with skin-tightening creams to using HIIT to burn excess fat. The three Booty Builder workouts — including two circuits and one resistance routine — are a muscle-building touch to an otherwise semi-creepy fitness program.

Pros

  • Exercises will maximize glute activation
  • Overviews several fixes to lame booties
  • Includes five workouts

Cons

  • Really insensitive to say cellulite doesn’t “look good”
  • Lotta butt pics
  • No mention of calories or macronutrients in the meal plan
  • Leans into the women’s weight training myths
  • Too many ads and “supplement tips

Vinsanity Shred Recipe Guide

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (31)

The Vinsanity Shred Recipe Guide is the rare “hit” in the V Shred line-up, stuffing more than 40 health-conscious recipes into this digital guide so you can turn your bland meal plan into a gourmet feast.

It’s a decent supplement to any of the brand’s programs like Fat Loss Extreme or Move.

From healthy baked fish sticks to baked crispy, each recipe includes clear instructions, ingredients, macronutrients, and calorie counts to make these “dump” recipes as painless as possible. If you want LA-chef-created recipes without spending hours a day in the kitchen, this to-the-point recipe book is a clear winner.

Pros

  • Ingredients are generally healthy foods (low-fat dairy, vegetables, fresh meats, and whole grains)
  • Moderately priced nutritious recipe book
  • Almost meal-prep-compatible
  • Includes 47 recipes between breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
  • Many recipes look tasty as heck

Cons

  • Need to piece together recipes to meet your fitness and health goals
  • Created by an unknown, unnamed celebrity chef
  • Not the last recipe guide you’ll ever need

V Shred Six-Pack Shred Program

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (32)

What’s the truth behind a six-pack that 1) “they” (the fitness industry) don’t want you to know and 2) normally requires a $500/hour trainer? Well, V Shred says he’s got your back with his Six-Pack Shred ab-training program.

Here’s our short Six Pack Shred review:

This 12-week program promises to give you a defined six-pack with cutting-edge training methods and without any sketchy PEDs.

The program makes a LOT of promises (including some pretty big ones):

  • Defined, cut abs
  • A lean waist without love handles
  • Back pain = gone (Um, really?)
  • A more aesthetic, lean look

Yes, there’s a V Shred diet portion, but it’s constantly contradicting the program. V Shred offered the included resources like they were an afterthought, and the training is so simplistic it’s hard to believe cofounder, Sant actually follows this advice to get abs.

Pros

  • Training methods appear to create abdominal muscle hypertrophy
  • Covers different experience levels
  • A shopping list is nice for beginners
  • Included exercises work the entire midsection

Cons

  • Constantly bombarded with ads for supplements at every turn
  • The diet information for weight loss is contradictory
  • Not worth the purchase price
  • The use of progressive overload in the training is gray and murky

Read the Full Six Pack Shred Review

Vinsanity Shred Supplement Guide

Vinsanity Shred’s Supplement Guide is quite literally a long-winded nod to its brother company — the Sculpt Nation supplement line with “supplement tips” explaining why supplements should be included with every V Shred diet regardless if you’re following Toned in 90 Days or Fat Loss Extreme.

While it doesn’t cost a dime (for now…), this “guide” essentially outlines why every single V Shred supplement plus a few stacks will change your life with as little effort as possible.

The videos of Sant gassing these capsules and powders without any scientific evidence or proof they work is classic V Shred.

Pros

  • Corporate shills love this guide
  • Supplements always discounted

Cons

  • Still claims this trash pile is worth $149
  • Doesn’t reference any studies
  • Inaccurate or overtly misleading supplement descriptions
  • Not worth a single penny

V Shred University

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (34)

V Shred University is a monthly subscription service designed to “set the record” straight in the fitness community. After completing an “official” V Shred body type quiz, the platform will match you with new workout and diet plans each month matched to your goal (i.e., weight loss, bulking).

But the original $1/month price tag does shoot up to $19.99, and the blog posts and weekly “Couch Talk” Q&A sessions haven’t been “new” since at least 2016 and 2017 (don’t expect new, cutting-edge updates).

It seemed like it started with good intentions, but we’re left longing for the University membership that could have been…

Pros

  • Could’ve been a killer platform if it had taken off
  • Enough training variety to keep things spicy for a month or two

Cons

  • Hasn’t been updated since ‘16–’17
  • Not exactly tailored to you or your goals
  • Better off with a whole-ass gym membership
  • Repetitive as hell
  • Auto-billing

Custom Diet Plan and Training Plan for Him

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (35)

V Shred’s almost-cool Custom Diet and Training Plan for Him is the internet equivalent of hiring a personal trainer without actually hiring them. The platform pairs you with one of many V Shred coaches (from their team of professionals) capable of creating detailed instructions on custom workout and diet plans to match your fitness goals after reviewing your questionnaire responses.

The diet plans focus on hitting your target macros, portion control, and keeping meals repetitive so as to remove complexity.

Warning: if you fail to check in with your coach weekly for progress tracking, prepare to be ghosted (really).

Pros

  • The concept could’ve been a game-changer
  • Accountability factor
  • Provide nutrition guidance suitable for stats and goal provided
  • Goals can be weight management, muscle gain, strength, etc.

Cons

  • Our trainer ghosted us (LMFAO)
  • Personalized plans are super repetitive (confirmed by comparing other V Shred reviews)
  • Nothing really screams “custom”
  • Weirdly hidden on the module
  • Super vague with little clarification
  • No money back guarantee
  • Includes “supplement tips” to advertise Sculpt Nation products

Read the Full Custom Diet and Training Plan for Him Review

Gold Coaching

Gold Coaching opens the door to everything V Shred for a totally-not-extreme $150 per month. This monthly subscription service gives you exclusive access to a V Shred coach, who you can contact 24/7 and who’ll also create a new custom meal plan and training routine for you each month. Although the regular custom plan was a bust, splurging on the Gold Coaching plan also means unlimited access to every V Shred program ever.

Pros

  • Could be a steal for V Shred die-hards
  • Personal trainers over the internet, score!
  • Personal nutrition guidance and a food plan based on your goals
  • All training and nutrition programs unlocked

Cons

  • Who is paying $150 per month for this s–?
  • The last coach ghosted us (which, again, LOL)
  • Other V Shred fitness programs fall flat

V Shred Supplement Reviews (Sculpt Nation)

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (37)

Vince Sant seized on his surging V Shred following and launched his own supplement line — Sculpt Nation — shortly thereafter. Here’s a look at V Shred’s most popular supplements:

Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies

Apple cider vinegar is one of the hottest superfoods to this day, with these candy-flavored Sculpt Nation gummies being the preferred alternative for a quick pick-me-up. With just two chewable per day, you can flood your body with free-radical-fighting antioxidants, and food is known for helping you lose weight (when paired with diet and exercise). It’s no miracle supplement, but research does link it to boosted energy levels and immune health.

Pros

  • Supposedly tastes like candy!
  • Modest dieting and exercise alongside ACV increases weight loss in 12 weeks (study)
  • High-ish in antioxidants

Cons

  • A superfood trend that just won’t die
  • “Healthy snack” — it’s two whole gummies per day
  • Actual apple cider vinegar is more affordable

Read the Sculpt Nation Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies Review

BCAAS

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (39)

Sculpt Nation’s BCAAs is a recovery formula featuring the core three BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) plus a vague “mineral complex.” Each scoop of fruit-punch-flavored BCAAs shines the spotlight on muscle recovery. Not only do branched-chain amino acids bump up muscle protein synthesis, but the reduced soreness between muscle-draining workouts could also shorten the rest time needed between each pump for slightly faster gains.

Pros

  • Scientifically proven to reduce muscle soreness post-workout
  • Another fruit punch-flavored one
  • Could boost muscle protein synthesis by over 20% (research)

Cons

  • Like everything in Sculpt Nation, it swears it’s “fast”
  • Whey protein has these three BCAAs, too

Burn Evolved

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (40)

Burn Evolved is Sculpt Nation’s (allegedly) revolutionary fat burner designed to calm unhinged appetites and boost metabolism through its slight thermogenic effect. This weight loss supplement also shows up in a number of V Shred offers like Fat Loss Extreme.

It contains a mix of ingredients known to burn fat faster like apple cider vinegar, yohimbine, and cayenne pepper fruit extract.

This supplement could hold the key to widening your caloric deficit and finally getting shredded through extra weight loss. Although, fat chance your dream physique will happen overnight or “lightning fast.”

Pros

  • Ingredients may suppress appetite or speed up metabolism
  • Imbalances in energy levels equal weight loss, namely fat loss (study)
  • Thermogenic effects are possible with a fat burner supplement

Cons

  • There’s not enough paradise seed extract in New Jersey to “blow torch body fat” at the rate Sculpt Nation is claiming
  • Likely very overhyped according to other V Shred reviews
  • Often used to sell V Shred fat loss programs

Read the Full Sculpt Nation Burn Evolved Review

Burn PM

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (41)

Sculpt Nation’s Burn PM supplement trots in on its high horse, with the brand labeling it a 24/7 fat-melter that either prevents fat entirely or helps you lose weight while you sleep. This double-capsule fat burner— packed with fad ingredients like raspberry ketones and green coffee extract — isn’t burning fat without diet and exercise. Yet, the 5.4mg of melatonin could lull you into a deeper sleep to recalibrate the hunger hormones and increase calorie-shred.

Pros

  • Potential to regulate sleep schedule with melatonin (sort of)
  • Restful sleep balances hunger hormones to suppress appetite
  • A fat burner can slightly rev metabolism to help with losing weight

Cons

  • A shaky V Shred fat loss promise to “shed fat 24/7 specifically while you sleep”
  • The link between raspberry ketones and fat loss is really shaky (research in mice)
  • “Zap the fat once it enters your bloodstream”

Creatine

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (42)

Creatine is among the most well-respected and most-reliable science-backed supplements on the planet. Sculpt Nation’s 5g, fruit-flavored Creatine packs all the benefits of the most trusted form (monohydrate) into every shake — from 1RM boosts and muscle fullness to less fatigue and strength. The easy-mix formula and bang-up fruit-punch-flavor give this version an edge, though the high price tag and “creatine complex” language are definite turn-offs.

Pros

  • Hundreds of studies link creatine to improved performance, recovery, and physiques
  • Practically pure creatine monohydrate
  • Great fruit punch flavor
  • Blends well in water

Cons

  • Abnormally high cost per serving
  • Nothing out of the ordinary

Enzymes

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (43)

Enzymes are the face of Sculpt Nation’s digestive supplement line, marketed as the supplement’s supplement — “hacking” your gut for better supplement absorption. Sculpt Nation stuffs gut-healthy enzymes like lipase and protease into every two-capsule serving to better break down carbohydrates, fats, and proteins and “supercharge” your other supplements.

The results won’t be as lightning-fast or “fairy-dust-y” as suggested, but at least you get 45 servings per tub.

Pros

  • Enzymes can break down lactose, fats, proteins, and carbs
  • 45 servings per container

Cons

  • “Near-instant hack” and “nutritional fairy dust” (really?)
  • Not really effective or necessary for those with healthy guts
  • Promises rapid results

Greens

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (44)

Greens aren’t a Sculpt Nation exclusive idea, but it is a recent trend known for shoving the benefits of veggies like kale and fruits like acai into a nutrient-rich formula. This supplement is an all-around booster for health and energy levels with 33% of your daily vitamin C and antioxidant-loaded blends. Mix this strawberry or peach-flavored powder into a morning smoothie for a (slight) detox and mild micronutrient surge, with benefits ranging from loosened joints to balanced gut health.

Pros

  • Includes “superfoods” like kale and acai
  • Increasing urine alkalinity can slightly boost toxin release (review)
  • Easy way to eat veggies (sort of)
  • Three flavors are available

Cons

  • Extremely low in vitamin and mineral benefits
  • Better off with an actual multivitamin to fill nutritional gaps

HGH Boost

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (45)

HGH Boost is yet another Sculpt Nation supplement pouncing on a common scapegoat for slow gains in men — low HGH levels. These all-natural capsules are a blend of B vitamins, a handful of amino acids, and colostrum to trick your pituitary gland into producing more human growth hormone without having to resort to more extreme methods.

This constant, daily rush of HGH would theoretically repair muscles quicker and add lean muscle mass in inches instead of centimeters (except for the fact HGH boosters are a flawed science).

Pros

  • Higher HGH levels would increase muscle growth and burn fat
  • Some ingredients work within reason

Cons

  • Won’t change every aspect of your life as suggested
  • HGH-boosters hardly ever work

NeurOctane

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (46)

NeurOctane is Sculpt Nation’s take on nootropics and brain health supplements. Squeezed into each two-capsule serving is a blend of trendy ingredients like bacopa monnieri and noopept. Theorized to clear brain fog, perfect neuron firing, and release feel-good chemicals like serotonin without the caffeine crash, NeuroOctane sounds like it can rewire the human brain (if it weren’t mostly sales hype).

Pros

  • May ignite some lifestyle changes based on new brain activity
  • The brain is just as important as the body
  • Initial studies suggest EnXtra can boost mental alertness
  • Many ingredients have mild brain-boosting effects

Cons

  • “Laser-like focus” and “literally helping you build a bulletproof brain”
  • It Shames caffeine but adds 50mg
  • Will make you more money (what?)

Pre-Workout

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (47)

Sculpt Nation’s Pre-Workout supplement packs an unexpected jolt of energy into its fruit-flavored, easy-mix powder. Stuffed with 300mg of caffeine, the three core BCAAs, beta-alanine, and a few other rogue amino acids, Pre-Workout amplifies mental focus while resisting physical fatigue mid-workout. Longer training sessions and more reps mean a greater pump and potentially faster aesthetic results.

Pros

  • Beta-alanine boosts performance in exercise lasting 1–4 minutes (research)
  • Caffeine could offer a weight-loss edge
  • Blend of decently studied and proven amino acids

Cons

  • 300mg of caffeine yet “no rash & ZERO jitters”
  • Feeds into the still-fuzzy nootropics craze
  • “Make a triple-espresso feel like a sleeping pill”

Post-Workout

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (48)

Post-Workout combines what seems like every other Sculpt Nation ingredient into a 30-day tub of single-scoop powder — an ordinary blend of creatine, L-carnitine, and a handful of root extracts. Sant selected this supplement to speed up the clock on post-workout recovery and refuel the body with the amino acids the muscles need to repair muscle tears and return to full strength. Without it, those cannonball delts and tree quads may shrink (OK, that’s a bit extreme).

Pros

  • L-carnitine L-tartrate can boost recovery time (study)
  • Creatine is the king of all supplements

Cons

  • Only one flavor — fruit punch
  • Implies muscles will breakdown without this tub
  • Other forms of creatine aren’t nearly as effective

Probiotics

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (49)

Sculpt Nation’s Probiotics attack full-body health from another angle — healthy digestion. Loaded with wildly named good bacteria to balance your microbiome and enable nutrient absorption, probiotics will shut down the bad bacteria. This supplement requires a single capsule per day and may just tweak other areas of your health, such as your immune system and plateauing weight loss.

Pros

  • Can actually improve gut health and balance bacteria (as seen here)
  • May also give mental health a kickstart (study)**
  • Overviews of benefits of each added ingredient

Cons

  • Not the only probiotic product to exist
  • Really, it won’t change your life

** Probiotics will not and should not replace legitimate medical treatment if you have anxiety, depression, or other mental health conditions.

Protein

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (50)

Chocolate and vanilla whey protein powders by Sculpt Nation are the answer to post-workout recovery for V Shred die-hards. Whether you’re doing Clean Bulk or Fat Loss Extreme, this is a supplement that has some real benefits.

Each tub contains 30 scoops packed with 25g of protein, specifically the 90% whey protein isolate applauded for its wicked-fast absorption and superior recovery. The low-carb, low-fat blend (1–2g of each) is the ideal and surprisingly tasty low-calorie choice whether you’re on a cut, lean bulk, or maintenance diet.

Pros

  • 90% isolate plus resistance training equals more muscle mass (study)
  • Doesn’t include GMOs
  • Mixes decently well in a shaker bottle
  • Pretty solid chocolaty flavor

Cons

  • The cost per serving is too damn high
  • For 25g per scoop, nonetheless

Test Boost Max

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (51)

Test Boost Max is the all-natural way to increase testosterone levels without taking anabolic steroids. The three-capsule supplement combines nearly a dozen hard-to-pronounce extracts and roots that allegedly have ties to testosterone production — like ashwagandha and American ginseng root. With higher T levels, the body naturally adapts better to exercise with fuller muscles and less fat mass.

Pros

  • Some of the ingredients can slightly boost testosterone
  • Testosterone can increase size and strength

Cons

  • Claims it’s the fastest, easiest way to increase T levels
  • T-boosters hardly (if ever) work and only do so minimally
  • A study referencing Tribulus Terrestris proves it’s garbage

Turmeric Black

V Shred Review 2023: All Vince Sant's Programs & Supplements - NOOB GAINS (52)

Turmeric Black is Sculpt Nation’s semi-badass version of the ancient Indian spice — turmeric. A proprietary blend of turmeric root powder, turmeric root extract, and a few other ingredients, this two-capsule-a-day supplement is supposedly the modern fountain of youth. Sant swears it’ll solve just about every ailment under the sun, from stiff joints and stubborn belly fat to poor digestion and slow post-workout recovery.

Pros

  • Could help people lose weight if they’re already overweight (proof and more proof)
  • A decent amount of research linking it to reduced joint pain (as seen in this study)
  • Reduces full-body inflammation

Cons

  • Calls it the “wonder supplement” of our time
  • “Bullet-proof joints” and “blazing-fast fat loss”

How Do You Cancel V Shred? (And Get Your Money Back)

Vince Sant slaps a 30-day money-back guarantee (sometimes a lifetime guarantee) on just about all V Shred’s programs and Sculpt Nation products. But how do you actually cancel V Shred and get your money back if you have unresolved customer complaints (or realize not everything is sold internationally)?

How to Cancel V Shred

  1. Access your V Shred account using your login credentials.

  5. Click Cancel.

If you aren’t subscribed to any V Shred monthly services but still want a refund on a regular program with a one time payment, email the customer support team at support@vshred.com within 30 days. You won’t find a money back guarantee on any V Shred custom diet and training plans.

Better Business Bureau Rating

V Shred’s Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating has long been a source of controversy. Having previously earned a dismal “F” rating, it currently stands at a “B”.

This rating improvement seems to be a result of a targeted support campaign, attempting to address every controversial concern announced on their BBB page.

A significant number of negative reviews and complaints focus on billing and collection issues.

Many users report being charged for products or services they didn’t request or receive, encountering difficulties canceling subscriptions and obtaining refunds.

Many customers complaints centered around advertising and sales practices in V Shred offers, unresponsive customer service, and delivery problems.

V Shred seems to prioritize undercutting competitor fitness companies over fulfilling its own promises, failing to meet the glossy image projected in its marketing.

V Shred Review: Does it Work?

V Shred products work in the same way Shake Weights strengthen the upper arms, intermittent fasting spurs fat loss, and dumbbell pullovers target the chest and lats.

This goes for any V Shred carb cycling diet advice too.

Technically, yes, these nutrition and exercise plans work, but there are literally dozens of other alternatives worth trying first.

This Could Be the Best Alternative to V Shred
Don’t settle for deceptive fitness programs based on pseudo science.
Build a leaner, more muscular body using reliable methods that have always worked.

Our main gripe with V Shred is that it undercuts virtually every other training out there, claiming they don’t work or require hours in the gym or an uber-restrictive nutrition program (that is partially true). But then it fails to deliver on most of the marketing-heavy promises it makes.

Looking at the nutrition advice, if you buy into the calories in, calories out (CICO) theory, with a handful of studies backing the idea that a how many calories you consume to create a deficit matters more than any macro split, the V Shred 90-Day Diet Plan (among other select V Shred diet programs) can yield weight loss.

Yet, pretending that macros essentially don’t exist is a huge red flag. If your physique goal is to get ripped or clean bulk, your body needs a more strategic macronutrient approach to build or maintain muscle, feel energized, and achieve a stable hormone balance.

V Shred is also so worried about ousting its competitors that it seemingly forgets to live up to its own promises. Much of what Sant promises on the sales page is sales garbage, like:

  • Not needing supplements, yet suggesting 13+ worth considering (from his own supplement brand, nonetheless) with minimal scientific evidence proving the why
  • Burning an insane amount of calories for 48 straight with thrice-weekly HIIT, yet ignoring research revealing that the calorie-burn plateaus after 14 hours and shreds only a few more calories per hour than baseline levels
  • Swearing he has the exact diet and macro formula to build the perfect physique, yet linking in the same-old 90-Day Diet Plan with no mention of macros, carb cycling, or TDEE until you complete the entire 90-day program
  • Suggesting you’ll lose weight equivalent to 30–50 pounds in 90 days or build 17+ pounds of muscle in three months, yet charging you double-digits for totally “meh” programs that you could find for free online literally anywhere else
  • Overpricing the supposedly “free” add-ons you’ll get if you buy now, yet smacking ridiculous $49–$149 price tags on the ad-heavy Supplement Guide or a corny psych-up guide (i.e., Clean Bulk’s “Training Your Mind” essentially says, “c’mon, bro”)
  • Offering two completely different programs between the gym and home workouts, varying between bodyweight circuits and regular resistance training, yet insisting you’re still progressing toward the same exact goal
  • Implying that everything in V Shred programs is what personal trainers or other fitness experts don’t want you to know, yet not delivering anything out-of-the-ordinary that could put the other pros out of business

To put it bluntly, no. While the brand’s programs and supplements will build some muscle and shred some fat, it’s nowhere close to the miracles Vince Sant paints it as.

If you force somebody to read 5,000+ words of marketing material or charge them for a program that’s eternally on sale, promising it’ll change their lives, it better live up to that and then some.

V Shred does not work — at least not as described — for most users. *mic drop*
