Logan Wilson shares the listing with Brayden Klein of the Victoria Luxury Group, part of Sotheby’s International Realty.
“You get the sense of (being) a million miles away,” Wilson said. On a sunny day, the water is turquoise. “It’s like you’re someplace tropical.”
There’s an outdoor tennis court and the main house has an indoor pool and a hot tub.
The island is flat and easy to walk around.
Four to five calls a day come in asking about the island, said Wilson. It is among only a few B.C. islands listed for sale. Some are in more remote areas and are not as accessible.
Provincial records show that three individuals and one company, all of West Vancouver, are listed as the owners.
The island is being marketed internationally. Wilson said he has received interest from Canadians as well.
The 1980-built main house has 9,156 square feet, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Altogether, there are 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms on the property.
Arched windows surround the main house which features vaulted ceilings, marble countertops, stone fireplaces, marble and oak floors, a cedar roof and central air conditioning.
The home is connected to the B.C. Hydro grid and has a backup diesel generator. It has storage for fresh water, a backup water connection to Vancouver Island and is on a septic system.
Pym falls under the jurisdiction of the Islands Trust.
