Bigbug takes place in 2045 and follows humans who live in an artificial intelligence-dominated world. Alice, a writer, tries to develop a meaningful relationship with an aloof gentleman named Max. When her ex-husband arrives for a visit with his fiancee, the characters get trapped by domestic robots as a “precautionary measure.” As four droids plot against their owners, a new generation bot arrives to investigate.
