Episode 1:

It was open season on grade-A hotties as Love Island USA made its sizzling Season 6 debut. And the blonde bombshell to enter the villa first? Incoming host Ariana Madix, who welcomed our ten buff, bronzed, and charismatic contestants to their sexy new island home.

After female contestants Kaylor, Serena, JaNa, Leah, and Hannah had gotten acquainted, Ariana introduced five strapping guys and gathered everyone around the fire pit. Sparks flew as they discussed relationship goals, pets, and pet peeves. Kordell and Serena, both from Houston and wearing matching pea green outfits, were vibing like crazy. But would they chose each other based on first impressions?

In the first Season 6 twist, coupling up was preceded by a game of Ice Breakers, basically an excuse for the islanders to madly snog each other. Then the moment we’d all been waiting for: the coupling ceremony! Kaylor made a beeline towards Brit contestant Aaron, while 6 foot 8 inch Coye was swarmed by Hannah, JaNa, and Serena. But – was it kismet? – Serena ended the episode partnered up with Kordell, and we're living for their giddy chemistry.

Now, with the introduction of THREE bombshells coming up, we'll soon find out whether these initial bonds are robust enough to survive the Love Island rollercoaster.

Episode 2:

Hear that? That’s the sound of three new islanders carpet bombing the Love Island Villa! Olivia was the first in, and was asked to steal any man of her choosing. Although reluctant to break up any couple, she decided to partner with snake wrangler Rob. This left both Rob and Leah spinning. But all the ladies perked up when heartthrobs Connor and Hakeem sauntered through the door.

Like two Greek statues brought to life, they immediately began grafting with the girls. You could almost hear Aaron’s muscles deflate when square-jawed Adonis Connor pulled his girl Kaylor aside to chat – and later share a kiss in the Soul Ties nook. The charismatic Hakeem benched Kaylor in the garden, but he was clicking most with Leah and Hannah, who, with their dark hair and fair skin, were most definitely his type.

The day concluded with Rob trying to juggle both Liv and Leah, though admittedly being more intimate with 24-year-old Leah, before Iain Sterling informed viewers that – *gasp* – tomorrow night would see one of the boys dumped from the island…

Episode 3:

There was love and a whole lot of trouble in paradise last night. Hannah found herself on the fence between Kendall and Hakeem, while JaNa’s head was turned by beefcake Connor – a surprise considering how happy she’d seemed with Coye. A game of “Kings and Queens” gave everyone cause for concern, with the islanders competing in two teams to guess which contestants “body count” was “higher or lower” than the last. The revelations definitely caused some consternation – especially for JaNa when she found out Coye had lied to her about sleeping with 150 different women.

Then it happened…they got a text! Officiating the season’s first recoupling, host Ariana gathered the islanders around the fire pit as the girls chose the boy they wanted to couple up with. The person left standing solo? They’d be sent packing. Liv picked Hakeem – realizing that, after spying Rob smooching Leah, he wasn't worth pursuing – and Serena recommitted to Kordell. Finally, JaNa was up. She had the hardest decision: stick with the strong, silent 6’8” Coye, or take a chance on gym bunny Connor. Unexpectedly, she decided to pick Connor – leaving the islanders to say their tearful farewells to Coye as he departed by the neon “Loves Me Not” sign.

Episode 4:

Cross words and buckets of water were hurled post that first recoupling. Hannah was pissed at Hakeem for repeating that she was “50/50” between him and Kendall. Hearing that left Kendall crestfallen, and so Hannah tried to reassure him that he was her number one priority. Meanwhile, Liv was livid at Rob for not being honest and sneakily snogging Leah. Surely the wet and wild “Vacation Vixens” challenge would allow everyone to let off some steam?

Not exactly. In revealing swimsuits, the girls provocatively descended a slip and slide before scrabbling around in the sand for a bottle with a question inside about their fellow islanders. It was the perfect passive-aggressive way to settle scores as the men stood around in their speedos. Leah, answering who was the most two-faced, picked her man Rob and doused him in a bucket of water. Getting a similar question, Liv made a beeline for her bestie Kaylor, then suddenly turned and hurled the water at Leah. *Shocked cat emoji*. True to form, Rob was next on her bucket hit list.

The fires of jealousy and confusion had certainly been stoked. Kendall was ready to call it a day over Hannah’s “50/50” comment, made worse by her decision to snog Hakeem in the challenge. Serena was suddenly feeling that she and Kordell might just be friends. And Hakeem was at the centre of more drama after Kaylor also shared a passionate clinch with him during their game of “Vacation Vixens”, leaving a heartbroken Aaron on the verge of ending things with Kaylor.

As the episode concluded, Iain Sterling declared that Sunday would see “two hot bombshells with explosive agendas” – he did say “agendas”, right? – entering the villa to amp up the relationship drama. It looks like it’s going to be make or break time for three couples at least.
